     Chimney Pond Campground is a magnificent local campground; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Northwest Basin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Annis Brook, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Saddle Trail. You can run the rapids of Nesowadnehunk Stream River in the vicinity of Davis Pond, and Davis Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, South Branch Pond Campground  
   is a good spot to camp nearby. North Basin is a brilliant location here at Davis Pond; nearby you hit upon Witherle Ravine which is a brilliant site to check out.
For the duration of the summer months highs here at Davis Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 20's; night lows at Davis Pond during the winter typically dip into the-10's. A pleasant vista of striking
 
               Hamlin Peak is available from Davis Pond, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Nesowadnehunk Stream. Davis Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Davis Pond without first paying a visit to Caribou Spring, and if you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a fine choice. Just can't get enough of Davis Pond. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Davis Pond. The Howe is a pleasant hiking trail near Davis Pond, and a lake nearby is Lake Cowles.
Interesting geology is available here; Table Land is next to Davis Pond, and Davis Pond is not the only location close by, Klondike Pond is a close by lake.
