This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Twin Ponds is in close proximity; a nice site to camp here at Davis Pond is Bowlin Camps Outfitters. Sugarloaf Mountain is easy to spot from Davis Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Seboeis River offers some good whitewater. Summer at Davis Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the       winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Davis Pond are in the-10's. Be careful coming to Davis Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Katahdin Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Snowshoe Lake Road. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Shin Brook River in a kayak, and Davis Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Shin Pond Village Campground                  is a pleasant local campground. Sucker Brook is a delightful stream that is worth a visit, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Davis Pond; Jerry Pond Tote Road is a tremendous local trail. From a rainfall point of view Davis Pond is a relatively common location; July is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
