Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the American Thread Company Road; Davis Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Bowlin Camps Outfitters is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Seboeis River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; you can observe Sugarloaf Mountain from Davis Pond. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Shin Brook River, and Shin Pond Village Campground is a magnificent local campground. So much amusing stuff to do at Davis Pond, so little time. After a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two; since you're here you can take a hike along the Jerry Pond Tote Road. Sucker Brook flows through this neighborhood, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Snowshoe Lake Road. Through the days of summer,                  highs mostly are in the 70's at Davis Pond with night lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Davis Pond.
