     Davis Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Red Barn RV Park is a fine local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Penobscot River. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Kidder Brook; you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Chemo Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Stillwater River offers some great whitewater. Davis Pond is right by the Old Gold Mine Trail, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Holbrook  
   Pond.
Davis Pond is a good place of common rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at New Hermon Mountain, and camping at Parks Pond Campground is always a good experience. Davis Pond is a place with many visitors from Bangor, and a round of golf at nearby Lucerne Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time.

               Pond for a tremendous time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail; Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center is a perfect spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Davis Pond; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Davis Pond plunge into the 0's. The Bald Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best; if you need a place to stay University Inn Academic Suites is a tremendous choice.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.

We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
