     Davis Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Have a good hiking adventure along the Bald Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lucerne Inn. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Davis Pond has to offer, you can camp at Parks Pond Campground, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater  
   of Penobscot River.
Any time is a good time at Davis Pond if you like the outdoors. Gotta ski! New Hermon Mountain is a pleasant site to do that, and you can stay the night at Red Barn RV Park. Davis Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls during November, and the driest month of the year is February. The wonderful people of Bangor like to hang out close by, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Old
 
               Gold Mine Trail.
If you need a site to stay Foster Bion is a wonderful choice; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lucerne Golf Course is in close proximity. Summertime at Davis Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Davis Pond. You can run the rapids of Stillwater River near Davis Pond, and getting to Kidder Brook from Davis Pond is easy.
