    What a nice lake Davis Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Chimney Trail. During the long summer days highs here at Davis Pond get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Davis Pond through the wintertime mostly fall into the-10's. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. It's a good  
   idea to have a look at Ellis River, it's next to Davis Pond, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Abram since you're here.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Davis Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. There are some great whitewater spots on Swift River; hiking is a popular thing to do around Davis Pond; Brook Trail is a good local
 
               trail. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the White Mountains. From Davis Pond you obtain a wonderful view of Mount Dimmock; dry warm beds await you at The Bethel Inn Resort.
This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. But wait, there's more to do close to Davis Pond. There's whitewater on Black Brook for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you came to camp Stony Brook Rec. and Camping is a nice place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Angel Falls Trail; The Perennial Inn is a good place to get some rest.
Camping at Littlefield Beaches Campground is always a splendid experience, and lovely scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Black Mountain.
