    Do stop by Davis Pond while you're in this part of Maine. An average amount of rainfall falls at Davis Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. If you need a place to stay The Perennial Inn is a great choice, and one of the governing highlights of the surroundings of Davis Pond is Mount Dimmock. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black  
   Brook; close by you hit upon the Brook Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.
Any time is a great time at Davis Pond if you love the outdoors. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Black Mountain is close to Davis Pond; the Chimney Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Davis Pond is located in the White Mountains. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. On a tremendous day at Davis Pond you can take a hike along the Angel Falls Trail, and Davis Pond
 
               is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Littlefield Beaches Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Horseshoe Pond while you're here at Davis Pond; it's nearby, and swing by Ellis River it's a nice site to have a look at. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting things to do in the White Mountains. Mount Abram is a good local ski area, and Davis Pond is not the only location close by, Howard Pond is a close by lake. A good location for whitewater paddling near Davis Pond is Swift River.
Stony Brook Rec. and Camping is a brilliant local campground, and The Bethel Inn Resort is a great place to get some rest. At Davis Pond during the summer months highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Davis Pond.
