And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting things to do in the White Mountains. Mount Abram is a good local ski area, and Davis Pond is not the only location close by, Howard Pond is a close by lake. A good location for whitewater paddling near Davis Pond is Swift River. Stony Brook Rec. and Camping is a brilliant local campground, and The Bethel Inn Resort is a great place to get some rest. At Davis Pond during the summer months highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's.
