    Do stop by Davis Pond while you're in this part of Maine. Summertime highs at Davis Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Davis Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. There's so much to do here at Davis Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Laurel is a tremendous place for that.  
   Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a nice adventure; why not check out close by Mill Stream while you're here at Davis Pond.
This place, Davis Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. The vista of charming Berry Hill near Davis Pond is perfect, and folks from Augusta-Waterville love to come here. Davis Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; through November this area sees the most rain, and February is the month
 
               with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Davis Pond has to offer, you can camp at Five Seasons Campground; drift down the rapids of Sandy River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Davis Pond, you could also pop by close by Minnehonk Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Eaton Mountain. Gotta ski! Titcomb is a great spot to do that, and if you need a location to stay Winthrop Motel is a nice choice.
The scenery at Mill Pond Dam near Davis Pond is pretty, and if you come at the right time of year, Wilson Stream offers some delightful whitewater.
