From a rain point of view Davidson Pond is a rather common place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A good spot to camp here at Davidson Pond is Bowlin Camps Outfitters; the Telos Tote Road is a great hiking       trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Davidson Pond you can take a hike along the American Thread Company Road. Camping is available at Conklin's Lodge & Camps; obviously, this is a good region for people who like lakes, Rush Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. Near Davidson Pond you hit upon the Sandbank Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; the top of Horse Mountain is easily observed from Davidson Pond. In the event that you                  don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wassataquoik Stream, and a great nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn.
