Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Valley Motel; you can go for a hike on the Telos Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Wassataquoik Stream in a kayak, and a nice site to camp here at Davidson Pond is Katahdin Shadows Campground. Get drenched paddling on Penobscot River - East Branch; splendid hiking is available along the Sandbank Trail. Just can't get enough of Davidson       Pond. Horse Mountain is beautiful and can be seen from Davidson Pond; why not camp at Pine Grove Campground while you're here at Davidson Pond. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Davidson Pond; November is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bangor here. At Davidson Pond all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in                  the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Davidson Pond tend to be in the 0's.
