Dry warm beds await you at Winthrop Motel, and you can run the rapids of Sandy River. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at David Pond, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. David Pond regularly gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while February       is ordinarily the driest month. High temperatures at David Pond during the summer months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at David Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; David Pond has it all. Here at David Pond there are plenty of folks from Augusta-Waterville, and if you need a location to stay                  Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice choice. David Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, East Livermore Campgrounds is a delightful local campground, and David Pond is not the only place close by, Basin Pond is a close by lake. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Maple Lane Inn & Golf Club is in close proximity. There's so much to do here at David Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Five Seasons Campground is a magnificent site for that. This lake is so wonderful.
