Going for a hike along the Carry Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and get dripping wet paddling on Caucomgomoc Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Tarbox Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Telephone       Trail. For the duration of the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Daggett Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Daggett Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. Why not stop at nearby Shallow Stream if you're here at Daggett Pond, and drift down the rapids of Allagash Stream in a kayak.
