Take a side visit to Carey Brook. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Shin Brook River; don't leave Cut Lake without first going for a hike along the Jerry Pond Tote Road. Cut Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month is February. This lake       is so wonderful. Homestead Lodge is a pleasant campground nearby, and Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Batch Pond is in the neighborhood of Cut Lake, and going for a hike on the Snowshoe Lake Road is always a tremendous adventure. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cut Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's,                  and night lows in the-10's for Cut Lake. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do next to Cut Lake. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes.
