This lake is so wonderful. Culling Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wilde Pines Campground is a good local campground, and if you need a site to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a brilliant choice. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Culling Pond. Hiking along the Sweets Trail is magnificent fun, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bigrock is       reasonably near. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Culling Pond while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Culling Pond are in the 0's. Meduxnekeag River - South Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Pierce Tote Road. From Culling Pond you acquire a pleasant vista of Sugar Loaf. An average amount of precipitation                  falls at Culling Pond; through July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road.
