On a great day at Crystal Pond you can take a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail. Any time is a wonderful time at Crystal Pond if you adore the outdoors. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Muddy Pond near Crystal Pond, and the panorama of beautiful Cunningham Mountain is great.       During the summer at Crystal Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Crystal Pond tend to be in the 0's. There's whitewater on Sheepscot River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Washington Pond Dam has nice water scenery. Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of St. George River, and if you need a site                  to stay Holiday Inn WATERVILLE is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Town Line Campsites; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Hockomock Nature Trail.
