Crystal Lake is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Vacationland Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby, of course you could also visit Bog Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to close by Bells Point is very relaxing, and a lake close by is Crystal Lake. Very scenic scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Shawnee Peak, and why not pop by close by Bear River since you're here at Crystal
Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Albany Notch Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crystal Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bear Mountain Village.
During the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Crystal Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Crystal Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Yeah,

come here to Crystal Lake for a splendid time. There's always Crystal Lake Dam to pop by near Crystal Lake, and tremendous hiking is available along the Albany Brook Trail. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked River; if you need a site to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a perfect choice.
Crystal Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with a lot of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. This place, Crystal Lake, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. The Bethel Inn Resort is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crystal Lake; Albany Mountain Trail is a great local trail; golf can be played at Bridgton Highlands Country Club.
At Crystal Lake you can make out Deer Hill, and skiing at Mount Abram is one of those things you just have to do.

Crooked River
My sister and I put in just below eddes falls this summer and kayaked all the way to sebago lake. Nice trip....My friend Dan and I ran part of this section last summer. Instead of putting in at Scribner's Mill, we launched from Edes Falls, just above the Rapids. It was a good inroduction to whitewater. Dan flipped within the first five minutes, but being that the water is relatively shallow, he did little more than get wet on a hot summers day. The Route 302 bridge is a logical pull out spot. There is a large mass of debris blocking passage of the river there. The only tricky part is that the walls of the riverband are steep and slippery, so it helps to have someone with you for the portage....
