Crystal Lake typically gets a good deal of rain; November is when you get the most rain here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Spring Meadows Golf Course is a golf course near Crystal Lake, and let's not forget Cole Brook which is a stream that you may encounter while here. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Royal River for all you adrenaline people, and the skiing at Shawnee Peak is great. Lakes                  are such peaceful sites, why not go to The Sinkhole near Crystal Lake, and the great people of Portland-South Portland like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Howard Johnson Hotel is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and Libby Hill is clearly visible from Crystal Lake. High temperatures at Crystal Lake during the summertime are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Crystal Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
