There's whitewater on Moose River - South Branch for all you thrill seekers; a good spot to camp here at Crosby Pond is Cupsuptic Campground. At Crosby Pond you can catch a sight of Louise Mountain, and going for a hike on the Morrell Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Looking for something right next door to Crosby Pond? Round Pond is in close proximity; some close by water includes Massachusetts Bog       Stream. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. The scenery at Arnold Pond Dam close to Crosby Pond is delightful, and nearby you find the Arnold Pond Trail which is a great hiking trail. There is a splendid hiking trail next to Crosby Pond called the Arnold Trail; if you like swamps you're in luck, Lower Hathan Bog is right nearby. During the warm months here at Crosby Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. For the period of the                  dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Crosby Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Dead River - North Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Crosby Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a splendid local campground, and hey, Gotta ski right? Saddleback is a great spot to do that.
