This lake is so wonderful. A swamp like Lower Hathan Bog near Crosby Pond has lots of interesting things to see; Louise Mountain is a peak you can make out from Crosby Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Cupsuptic Campground is a nice place to do that; going for a hike on the Arnold Trail is always a fine adventure.       Saddleback is a very popular ski area in close proximity; a wonderful lake like Mud Pond is a wonderful place to stop at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Crosby Pond a wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month. Summer at Crosby Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while                  the cold winter nights at Crosby Pond are in the-10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Crosby Pond. There's so much to do here at Crosby Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a perfect place for that; you can go for a hike on the Arnold Pond Trail. An out of the ordinary thing to take a look at next to Crosby Pond is Arnold Pond Dam, and if you come at the right time of year, Dead River - North Branch offers some wonderful whitewater.
