Crooked Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Upper Pond Dam is a spot that is near Crooked Pond, and float down the rapids of Mattawamkeag in a kayak. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Center Pond is one of those close by, and paddling on Penobscot River is so much fun. You'll meet a lot of people from Bangor here. Summertime at Crooked Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The winter brings                  highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Crooked Pond. So many entertaining things to do here at Crooked Pond, too great to be true.
