And that's not all you can do here at Crocker Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Penobscot River - South Branch offers some great whitewater, and Crocker Pond is a great location to camp, Jackman Landing Campground is a great location. Good hiking is available along the Sally Mountain Trail, and Comfort Motel is a nice place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything       Crocker Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moose River Campground, and after a long day outdoors Stewart's Cabins is a good site to spend a night or two. There's nice hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Little Spencer Stream, and why not take a little trip to Alder Brook since you're here. Summertime highs at Crocker Pond typically tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down                  to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Crocker Pond are in the-10's. Crocker Pond is not the only spot close by, Burnt Land Pond is a close by lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Crocker Pond; Alder Brook Trail is a good local trail.
