This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Jackman Landing Campground; get wet paddling on Moose River - South Branch. The Bald Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Penobscot River - South Branch. Why not check out Crocker Pond Dam since you're here; a charming       lake like Beaver Pond is a nice place to check out. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Crocker Pond is so good! A quick visit to Stony Brook in the neighborhood of Crocker Pond is a brilliant idea, and why not camp at Moose River Campground while you're here at Crocker Pond. Crocker Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; all through July this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This                  lake is so wonderful. Through the months of summer at Crocker Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Crocker Pond dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
