    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Crocker Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There is a glorious hiking trail near Crocker Pond called the Albany Brook Trail, and not far from Crocker Pond you get some wonderful water scenery at Patte Brook Dam. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the White Mountains has to offer. Whitewater  
   paddling is perfect on Sunday River; do pop by Little Papoose Pond, it's a charming lake.
Through the summertime months at Crocker Pond highs are usually in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Crocker Pond dip into the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things right next door to Crocker
 
               Pond. A nice spot to camp here at Crocker Pond is Crocker Pond Campground, and Mount Abram is a splendid local ski area. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The White Mountains is so good! Don't miss out on a delightful swamp; Waterfowl Marsh is right here at Crocker Pond, and here at Crocker Pond you can see Albany Mountain.
While staying at Crocker Pond you could always look at Albany Notch; The Bethel Inn Resort is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Albany Notch Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and since you're here, you could also visit wonderful Bradley Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked River, and Browns Ledge is something you shouldn't miss since you're here.
Crocker Pond is a good location of common precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Having a splendid time in the White Mountains is simple. Near Crocker Pond you come across the Albany Mountain Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sunday River is near Crocker Pond, and why not stop by close by New England Brook while you're here at Crocker Pond.
Why not camp at Bethel Outdoor Adventures Campground since you're here at Crocker Pond; dry warm beds await you at The Victoria Inn.
