Crescent Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Kokatosi Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Crooked River. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Edwards Brook is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and do check out Hog Meadow Pond, it's a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Summit       Golf Course. Much rain falls at Crescent Lake; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is September. Having a splendid time at Crescent Lake is trouble-free. Gotta ski! Lost Valley is a tremendous place to do that, and if you're popping by from Portland-South Portland, you won't be the only one. What would winter be without some skiing at Shawnee Peak; a glorious nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Hotel.                  If you need a spot to stay The Elms Bed and Breakfast is a pleasant choice, and a delightful lake like Nubble Pond is a great location to stop by. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Crescent Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Crescent Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's.
