This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Oyster River; don't leave Crawford Pond without first going for a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. From Crawford Pond you get a glorious view of Barrett Hill, and a good close by hotel is       The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Crawford Pond. You're sure to run into some nice people from Rockland here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crawford Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mic Mac Cove Camp Ground. The amount of rainfall that falls at Crawford Pond is close to the national average; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is                  February. Mill Stream is a tremendous site to check out, and Camden is a great local ski area. St. George River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Island View Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Mill Stream in the neighborhood of Crawford Pond; the Mount Battie Trail offers hiking at its best. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Crawford Pond. There's brilliant hiking along the Mount Megunticook Trail, and a stunning lake like Alder Stream is a tremendous location to explore. Throughout the summertime at Crawford Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
