In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Cranberry Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Pockwockamus Stream is a lovely stream that is worth a visit; hiking along the Abol Trail is pleasant fun. There's so much to do here at Cranberry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Roaring Brook Campground is a magnificent spot for that; Cranberry Pond is right by the Dudley Trail. Sandy Stream has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; why not head

| | up to Big Squaw and strap some skis to your feet. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Cranberry Pond. Whitewater paddling is fine on Nesowadnehunk Stream, and going for a hike along the Cathedral Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. All through the months of summer at Cranberry Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. | |

Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows at Cranberry Pond through the winter ordinarily fall into the-10's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cranberry Pond has to offer, you can camp at Chimney
Pond Campground. Lakes are wonderful; Round Pond is a lake that's next to Cranberry Pond. If you need a location to stay Katahdin Inn is a great choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by
Rocky Pond. The annual precipitation here at Cranberry Pond is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
