     Maine has many beautiful lakes and Cranberry Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Katahdin Inn; do take a hike on the Cathedral Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dudley Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy Stream offers some tremendous whitewater.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A lake nearby is Pockwockamus Pond, and you can stay the night at
 
   Roaring Brook Campground. There's some flowing water close by, Pockwockamus Stream is a stream you can pop by while you're here; Cranberry Pond is right by the Abol Trail. High temperatures at Cranberry Pond during the summertime are in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Cranberry Pond.
A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Cranberry Pond;
 
               July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. You could also pop by Lower Togue Pond if you're here at Cranberry Pond; it's nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nesowadnehunk Stream. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Big Squaw, and Cranberry Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Chimney Pond Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby.
