Through the warm months at Cranberry Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Cranberry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Cranberry Pond, do take a visit to South Cove, and if you       came to camp Wildwood Shores Campground is a good location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Pittsfield Motor Inn. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Cranberry Pond; July is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Take a hike on the Intake Trail; Cranberry Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. But wait, there's more to                  do near Cranberry Pond. There are other places here than Cranberry Pond, for example Notch Pond, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a fine place to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Wilson Stream; the snow is great at Big Squaw.
