Black Cat Pond is a lake in close proximity; going for a hike on the Old Dam Tote Road is always a glorious adventure. Yeah, come here to Cranberry Pond for a tremendous time. There are good places to explore along the Webster Brook Tote Road, and Cranberry Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Homestead Lodge is a good place to camp nearby. The yearly rain here at Cranberry Pond is about average;       July is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. If you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a brilliant choice, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on St. Croix Stream. Get wet paddling on Squa Pan Stream, and Mystic Acres Campground is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are brilliant; Umcolcus Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Cranberry Pond, and close                  by you find the Snowshoe Lake Road which is a great hiking trail. For the duration of the warm months here at Cranberry Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 50's.
