Cranberry Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. The Bald Mountain Trail is a perfect hiking trail close to Cranberry Pond. For the period of the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Cranberry Pond. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. at Cranberry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Branch Lake Camping Area is a fine site for that. If you come at the right time of year, Sunkhaze Stream offers some good whitewater, and you'll stumble on a delightful lake called Cedar Swamp Pond.
