Sure, Cedar Swamp Pond is near Cranberry Pond, and Tannery Brook River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Cranberry Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Cranberry Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Parks Pond Campground. If you       don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sunkhaze Stream, and White Birches Country Club is a wonderful site to get some rest. From a rain point of view Cranberry Pond is a pretty typical place; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Why not camp at Branch Lake Camping Area while you're here at Cranberry Pond, and you acquire a pleasant panorama of Chick Hill from                  here. This lake is so wonderful.
