On a pleasant day at Cranberry Pond you can take a hike along the Webster Brook Tote Road; whitewater paddling is brilliant on Squa Pan Stream. North Branch Blackwater River is a pretty stream that is worth going to; if you're here you can take a hike along the Old Dam Tote Road. At Cranberry Pond during the summer months highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink                  down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Cranberry Pond dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. There is a tremendous hiking trail next to Cranberry Pond called the Kennedy Tote Road.
