There is a delightful hiking trail close to Cranberry Pond called the Old Dam Tote Road, and a glorious close by hotel is Crown Park Inn. Going for a hike on the Webster Brook Tote Road is always a good adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Bear Mountain Lodge is a good site to camp. There are other places here than Cranberry Pond, for example Squapan Lake, and Libby's Sporting Camps is a brilliant local campground. Summertime brings highs in the

| | 70's to Cranberry Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and night lows at Cranberry Pond through the winter regularly descend into the-10's. And that's not all you can do here at Cranberry Pond. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix Stream, and lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Hall Pond. This lake is so wonderful. | |

There are magnificent locations to look at along the Kennedy Tote Road; a quick tour to North Branch Blackwater River is positively a perfect idea. Whitewater paddling is great on Squa Pan Stream. Cranberry Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
