From Cotton Pond you get a fine sight of Hatchet Mountain, and there's always Fish Pond Dam to go to near Cotton Pond. Hit the slopes at Camden around here, and do go to Lermond Pond, it's a gorgeous lake. At Cotton Pond during the summertime highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights       at Cotton Pond are in the 10's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Cotton Pond has to offer. Cotton Pond ordinarily gets a good deal of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you're here at Cotton Pond and you like golf, you can go to Goose River Golf Course, and Cotton Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Alford Lake Camp is a nice                  place to camp nearby. Cotton Pond truly is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is glorious on St. George River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cotton Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mic Mac Cove Camp Ground. This lake is so wonderful. Moody Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and great hiking is available along the Mount Megunticook Trail. Oyster River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by; you can go for a hike on the Ragged Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cotton Pond; Mount Battie Trail is a brilliant local trail, and if you need a site to stay Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn is a splendid choice.
