     Cooper Brook is a good local stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cooper Pond has to offer, you can camp at Big Moose Campground. Summertime at Cooper Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows through the winter for Cooper Pond tend to be in the-10's. If only every place had this much outdoors  
   amusing things, what a great globe it would be. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Nahmakanta Stream, and a nice nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. Lakes? Sure, Duck Pond is nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Cooper Pond; Jo-Mary Trail is a brilliant local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cooper Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chimney Pond Campground is a delightful site
 
               for that, and the Packards Trail offers hiking at its best. There's whitewater on Pleasant River - East Branch for all you thrill seekers. A typical amount of rain falls here at Cooper Pond; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
Mud Pond is a delightful lake next to Cooper Pond, and great hiking is available along the Telephone Trail.
