Summertime highs at Cooks Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Cooks Pond. Cooks Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. On a good day at Cooks Pond you can take a hike along the Hockomock Nature       Trail, and a striking lake like Kalers Pond is a great site to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of lovely Eugley Hill near Cooks Pond is perfect; Tobias Pond is a splendid lake close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Cooks Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Flagship Inn, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Sheepscot River. A fine site to camp here at Cooks Pond is Town Line Campsites, and there's whitewater on                  Sheepscot River for all you thrill seekers.
