This lake is so wonderful. Frost Pond Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and get drenched paddling on Nahmakanta Stream. Going for a hike on the Old Telos Tote Road is always a splendid adventure, and there's always Rainbow Lake Dam to take a look       at close to Collins Pond. There are tremendous spots to explore along the Abol Trail, and unsurprisingly Stratton Brook flows through this vicinity. This place is peerless, just check out all the enjoyable things to do close to Collins Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Big Squaw while you're here; whitewater paddling is glorious on Penobscot River - West Branch.
