     Cold Stream Pond is a nice lake to visit. From a rain point of view Cold Stream Pond is a pretty typical location; the month with most of the rain is November; February is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cold Stream Pond has to offer, you can camp at King's Trailer Park, and University Inn Academic Suites is a good place to get some rest. During your visit to Cold Stream Pond you'll meet some folks from  
   Bangor for sure, and there's good hiking along the Old Gold Mine Trail.
If you need a place to stay Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center is a good choice, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sunkhaze Stream. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cold Stream Pond. Good hiking is available along the Shore Road Trail, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Penobscot
 
               River. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cold Stream Pond; Shore Trail is a wonderful local trail, and Cold Stream Pond Dam is a stunning place, definitely worth taking a look at. Through the warm months here at Cold Stream Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cold Stream Pond. There's so much to do here at Cold Stream Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle Lodge & Camps is a glorious place for that, and why not take a little journey to Brady Brook since you're here.
