For the period of the summertime months at Coffin Brook Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Dog Pit Brook is in the vicinity of Coffin Brook Pond and is always a delight to visit. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Coffin Brook Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sunset Point Campground.
