     Coffin Brook Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Heath Hill is a peak you can see from Coffin Brook Pond, and drift down the rapids of Pleasant River in a kayak. At Coffin Brook Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Coffin Brook Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side spree to Dog Pit Brook,  
   and not far from Coffin Brook Pond you'll discover Silica Ponds which is a wonderful lake.
And that's not all you can do here at Coffin Brook Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Coffin Brook Pond; Mud Hole Trail is a glorious local trail, and there are other places here than Coffin Brook Pond, for example Montegail Pond. Sunset Point Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and if you need a location to stay Bar Harbor Inn is a nice choice.
 
               Coffin Brook Pond gets a lot of water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. Stay the night at Sunkhaze Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Mopang Stream offers some glorious whitewater.
