Coffee Pond is always a pleasure to visit. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Coffee Pond. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Summit Golf Course is nearby, and Lost Valley is a perfect local ski area. High temperatures at Coffee Pond through the summertime months are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Coffee Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Crescent Lake is a pleasant lake near Coffee Pond; there are some nice whitewater spots on Crooked River.
The Elms Bed and Breakfast is a delightful place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Kingsley Pines Camp is a great place to camp. At Coffee Pond you can see Barton Hill; lots of folks from Portland-South Portland come here. If you need a site to stay Pleasant Mountain Inn is a good choice; the skiing at Shawnee Peak is nice.

Meadow Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth taking a look at, and why not camp at Camp Samoset II if you're here at Coffee Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Coffee Pond is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; during the
month of November you get the most rain around here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
