Summertime highs at Cochnewagon Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Cochnewagon Lake. Cochnewagon Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Augusta West Lakeside Resort is a delightful local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Travel Inn is a       perfect choice. Very perfect water scenery is available at Cochnewagon Dam near Cochnewagon Lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Cochnewagon Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls throughout November; February is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Cochnewagon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Brook Campground is a brilliant                  site for that; the top of Norris Hill is easily seen from Cochnewagon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Springbrook Golf Club is a splendid golf course close by; the snow is good at Lost Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cobbosseecontee Stream is so much fun, and you'll most likely meet some people from Lewiston-Auburn here. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Cochnewagon Lake has it all.
