A nice nearby hotel is Winthrop                  Motel, and Norris Hill is clearly visible from Cochnewagon Lake. There's whitewater on Cobbosseecontee Stream for all you thrill seekers. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cochnewagon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Brook Campground. Cochnewagon Lake regularly gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
