You can run the rapids of Cathance River near Cochnewagon Lake, and skiing at Lost Valley is one of those things you just should do. Motel, and Norris Hill is clearly visible from Cochnewagon Lake. There's whitewater on Cobbosseecontee Stream for all you thrill seekers. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cochnewagon Lake has to offer, you can camp
at Beaver Brook Campground. Cochnewagon Lake regularly gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Travel
Inn is a wonderful site to get some rest; if you're here, you could also pop by striking Bonny Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Cochnewagon Lake, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National
Scenic Trail. There's so much to do here at Cochnewagon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Augusta West Lakeside Resort is a glorious place for that.
