Float down the rapids of Cobbosseecontee Stream in a kayak, and Bog Brook is close to Cobbosseecontee Stream Reservoir and is always a pleasure to take a look at. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Cobbosseecontee Lake next to Cobbosseecontee Stream Reservoir, and Collins Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Camping is available at The Birches Campground, and do take a hike on the Appalachian

There needs to be a bunch of water in this stream to even make it doable. on 4/20 we were scooting-ass over many shallow spots in our yaks. Fun drops with laziness inbetween make for a good time especially for the novice.... |

The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends. The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
