Cloutman Pond is a lake worth visiting. During the long summer days highs here at Cloutman Pond reach the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Cloutman Pond through the winter ordinarily plunge into the-10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cloutman Pond a wet spot; most of the rain falls through August while February is commonly the driest month. Yeah, come up here

Cloutman Pond is located in the White Mountains. Go for a hike on the Milrose Trail, and a pleasant location to camp here at Cloutman Pond is Cupsuptic Campground. Stream Trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Black Mountain is a nice location to do that. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kennebago River, and close by you come across Eagle Point. Whohoo,
so many cool things in one place! Cloutman Pond is so good! Good hiking is available along the Bemis Trail, and a lake close by is Little Mud Pond.

 | 19 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
