     A charming lake like Twin Lake in the vicinity of Cliff Lake is a nice place to visit; a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is Allagash River. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Chase Carry, and you can run the rapids of Smith Brook. Summertime highs at Cliff Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Cliff Lake nighttime low temperatures  
   all through the wintertime are in the-10's. Cliff Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February.
Don't leave Cliff Lake without first going for a hike along the Telephone Trail, and Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a splendid location to get some rest. This location is peerless, just look at all the cool things to do right next door to Cliff Lake. The Carry Trail offers hiking at its best, and do stop at Grass Pond, it's a gorgeous lake.
