Cliff Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Carry Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Allagash River. The Chase Carry offers hiking at its best; glide down the rapids of Smith Brook in a kayak. Summertime at Cliff Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. There's great hiking along the Telephone Trail, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great place to spend a night or two. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Cliff Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest.
