Otter Pond is a nice lake in the vicinity of Cleveland Pond, and Deer Mountain Campground is a pleasant local campground. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Balsams Wilderness, and going for a hike on the Old Magalloway Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you       came for an overnight stay Cupsuptic Campground is a wonderful site to camp; close by you hit upon the Arnold Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. So many cool things to do at Cleveland Pond, so little time. Go for a hike on the Milrose Trail; some nearby water includes First East Branch Magalloway River. A short tour to Little Boy Falls is always worthwhile, and Indian Cove is very near and is a tremendous place to check out. This lake is so wonderful.                  Cleveland Pond mostly gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cleveland Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
