Clayton Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Seboomook wilderness Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and Clayton Pond is not the only site close by, Baker Lake is a close by lake. Through the warm months here at Clayton Pond, high temperatures       ordinarily get into the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Clayton Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. A lake close by is Fifth Saint John Pond, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
