Clays Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A lake close by is Wards Pond, and White Mountain Hotel and Resort is a fine location to get some rest. At Clays Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures       are in the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Clays Pond sink into the 0's. You definitely ought to have a thing about the White Mountains. Fryeburg Dam is scenic and it's near Clays Pond; Clays Pond is right by the Kearsarge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Clays Pond; Province Brook Trail is a delightful local trail, and the snow                  is great at Cranmore Mountain. Head up to King Pine and strap some skis to your feet; why not take a refreshing hike along the Weeks Brook Trail. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the White Mountains. Stay the night at Fiddlehead Campground, and the view of Bald Peak is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Oxford House Inn is a nice choice, and Clays Pond is a good site to visit for more than one day, Zen Farm RV Resort is a good site to camp nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Ossipee River offers some wonderful whitewater, and getting to Haley Brook from Clays Pond is simple.
