Go for a hike on the Province Brook Trail; beautiful scenery and fine skiing is what you get at King Pine. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains. Take a little spree to Haley Brook if you're here at Clays Pond, and one of the overriding features of the surroundings of Clays Pond is Bald Peak. Clays Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of       rainfall; most of the rain falls through November while September is usually the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Kearsarge Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Cranmore Mountain while you're here, and if you need a location to stay Oxford House Inn is a glorious choice. There are other spots                  here than Clays Pond, for example Peat Pond; camping at Zen Farm RV Resort is always a good experience. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Clays Pond get into the 80's, and the night is rather colder of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows at Clays Pond throughout the wintertime regularly descend into the 0's. Don't leave Clays Pond without first going for a hike along the Weeks Brook Trail; lakes are such serene locations, why not explore Black Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Fiddlehead Campground, and Fryeburg Dam is not far at all from Clays Pond. Just can't get enough of Clays Pond.
