Hiking along the McFarland Hill Trail is splendid fun; float down the rapids of Union River - East Branch in a kayak. Sea Breeze Motel is a splendid location to get some rest, and camping at Mountainview Campground is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Brown Meadow is an out of the ordinary swamp right next door to Clark Pond, and Clark Pond is right by the Kebo Mountain Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity

a glorious idea; the sights at Acadia National Park will blow your mind. Clark Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain View Campground is a great local campground, and there are other places here than Clark Pond,
for example Georges Pond. Clark Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Union River, and Marlboro Beach is a pretty beach to stop at.
