paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Royal River. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Valley is a very popular ski area close by; Thompson Point is close at hand and always glorious to pop by. Presumpscot
River Reservoir is a delightful lake near Clark Pond, and of course Long Creek flows through this region. Any time is a great time at Clark Pond if you adore the outdoors. Clark Pond is a location with many visitors from Portland-South
Portland, and Clark Pond Dam has tremendous water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Scarborough Beach is next to Clark Pond and is a pretty beach to go to; a golf course nearby is Sable Oaks Golf Club.
