Going for a hike on the Pierce Tote Road is always a brilliant adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inn. Clark Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. It's a brilliant idea to go to Colbroth Brook, it's in close proximity to Clark Pond, and camping at Clark Pond is delightful fun, Wilde Pines Campground is a delightful local campground.       This lake is so wonderful. Brookside Inn is a great place to get some rest; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mattawamkeag River - East Branch. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Clark Pond. Not far from Clark Pond, you'll locate Long Lake which is a beautiful lake, and you can go for a hike on the Potters Trail. Near Clark Pond you find the Kennedy Tote Road which is a great hiking trail, and                  there are some fine whitewater spots on Mattawamkeag River - West Branch. Summertime at Clark Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
