Looking for some flowing water? Try Mill Brook; a day on the slopes of Saddleback is just what you need. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! City Pond is excellent!. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is nearby; the Brook Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors       cool stuff just keep reading. The Perennial Inn is a good site to get some rest; if you come at the right time of year, Dead River - South Branch offers some splendid whitewater. City Pond is a good place of typical rain; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Sandy River, and if you came to camp Black Brook Cove Campground is a nice location to do that.                  This lake is so wonderful. City Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a nice local campground, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail. While you're here at City Pond, you could also explore scenic Sandy River Ponds, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Chimney Trail. Long Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by; the summit of Oakes Nubble can be seen from City Pond. The warmest time of the year at City Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
