     Chunney Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn; you'll discover a beautiful lake called Depot Pond. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling near Chunney Pond is Nesowadnehunk Stream River; you can distinguish Baxter Peak from Chunney Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Chunney Pond; Cathedral Trail is a splendid local trail, and Sandy Stream is a good whitewater spot  
   close by.
There's delightful hiking along the Dudley Trail; a spree to Great Basin revives the spirit. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Chunney Pond is peerless! The Saddle Trail offers hiking at its best It's always great to stop by Caribou Spring. All the outdoors entertaining things near Chunney Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly.

               sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Dry Pond near Chunney Pond, and why not camp at Roaring Brook Campground while you're here at Chunney Pond. Camping is available at Chimney Pond Campground, and folks from Bangor love to come here.
During the days of summer here at Chunney Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Chunney Pond temperatures sink to the-10's. York Valley is a wonderful place to discover; Table Land is an out of the ordinary spot to take a look at while at Chunney Pond.
