Chub Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Woody's Campground and Cottages is a brilliant local campground, and Chase Stream Mountain is a peak you can see from Chub Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Bingham Motor Inn. If you came to camp Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a good site to do that;       get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold Stream. This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day at Chub Pond you can take a hike along the Arnolds Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Kennebec River offers some delightful whitewater. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Chub Pond. Ten Thousand Acre Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out; going for a hike on the Alder Brook Trail is always a fine adventure.                  Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Chub Pond.
