A common amount of precipitation falls here at Chittenden Pond; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Saddleback; Cupsuptic River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this

If you get bored of Chittenden Pond, you could also check out nearby Everett Pond, and the vista of pretty Farm Hill is glorious.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at King & Bartlett Lake Camp while you're here at Chittenden Pond; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Morrell Trail.

I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....
