You can run the rapids of Wesserunsett Stream near China Lake, and Best Western Waterville Inn is a nice site to get some rest. For the period of the long summer days here at China Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while China Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.       Fish Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. A great sight of stunning Mayflower Hill is available from China Lake, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid choice. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The skiing at Eaton Mountain is nice; if you came for an overnight stay Green Valley Campground is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
