Lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Outlet Stream next to China Lake, and you don’t have to go far from China Lake to distinguish the water at China Lake       Dam. But wait, there's more to do next to China Lake. During your tour to China Lake you'll meet some folks from Augusta-Waterville for sure; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn WATERVILLE. A pretty lake like Outlet Stream near China Lake is a great location to have a look at, and paddling on Sebasticook River is so much fun. China Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February                  is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is good on Sheepscot River - West Branch, and from China Lake you get a splendid vista of Priest Hill. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to China Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
