Chickawaukie Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Chickawaukie Pond Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Battie Trail. Pond, absolutely phenomenal. Why not go to Crockett Point also if you're here; you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Maces Pond is one of those close by. At Chickawaukie Pond through the summer highs are in the 70's. Through
the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Chickawaukie Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. You'll never forgive
yourself if you don’t go skiing at Camden while you're here; a glorious close by hotel is Glen Cove Motel. Stay the night at Meguniticook By The Sea Campground; on a nice day you can take a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail.
Chickawaukie Pond gets much water; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
