The warmest time of the year at Chesuncook-Ripogenus Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures       are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Chesuncook-Ripogenus Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Chesuncook-Ripogenus Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Frost Pond Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Chesuncook-Ripogenus Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and February                  is when it's the driest. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. This is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Ripogenus Lake is a lake nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nesowadnehunk Stream. Lakes are perfect; Carry Pond is a lake that's right next door to Chesuncook-Ripogenus Lake; the Old Telos Tote Road offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Penobscot River - West Branch; an attention-grabbing thing to stop by right next door to Chesuncook-Ripogenus Lake is Ripogenus Dam.
